Andrey Naidyonov

Born in Leningrad in 1968. He began to study music at the age of 6 at the Middle Special Music School of the Leningrad State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire, subsequently continuing his education at the Central Music School of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. Graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire (Natalia Shakhovskaya’s class). During his years as a student he appeared on numerous occasions as a soloist with the conservatoire's symphony orchestra. <>

Since 1992 he has been leader of the cello section with the Moscow Soloists chamber ensemble. He toured with the ensemble to Europe, the USA, Japan and Australia. He took part in chamber music festivals in Tours (France), Rolandseck and Elmau (Germany), Bath and the Isle of Man (Great Britain) and on Elba (Italy). He has appeared alongside such musicians as Viktor Tretyakov, Yuri Bashmet, Natalia Gutman, Vadim Repin, Nikolaj Znaider, Valentin Feigin, Alexander Slobodyanik, Vladimir Sokolov, Sergei Nakariakov, Alexander Melnikov and Janne Thomsen.
