Arkady Reznik

Arkady Reznik was born in Moscow in 1987. After studying at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music with Prof. Alexander Frauchi and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music with Prof. Nikolay Komolyatov, he completed his internship course at the Maimonides State Classical Academy under Prof. Valery Samoletov and a postgraduate course at the Berlin University of the Arts with Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering. The musician has attended master classes by famous performers, including Manuel Barrueco, David Russell, Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Carlo Marchione, Roberto Aussel, William Kanengiser, Carlos Barbosa Lima, Álvaro Pierri, Judicaël Perroy, Andreas von Wangenheim, Adam Holzman, Dale Kavanagh, Augustin Wiedemann, Johan Fostier, to name but a few. <<cut>>

Arkady Reznik has won the gold medal of the 8th Youth Delphic Games of Russia and a prize of the Artiad of the Russian Nations. He was also awarded the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation for supporting talented youth and the Diploma of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. 

Arkady Reznik has performed at the State Kremlin Palace, Moscow Conservatory, Moscow International House of Music, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and toured across Russia and CIS countries as well as in Spain, Andorra, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, Finland and Israel, while also appearing in television and radio programmes. 

The musician’s repertoire ranges from Baroque music to contemporary works, jazz, Latin American music and rock. Arkady Reznik participated in performing all guitar quintets by Luigi Boccherini and presented the Russian premieres of works by Luigi Legnani, Ferdinando Carulli, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Guastavino, Leo Brouwer, Radamés Gnattali, John W. Duarte, Máximo Diego Pujol, Marco Pereira, Jaime Zenamon, Roberto di Marino, Sofia Gubaidulina, Alexander Vinitsky, Nikita Koshkin, Viktor Kozlov, and other composers. Presently, he is an Associate Professor at the Maimonides Academy of the Kosygin State University of Russia.
