Violinist and composer Ivan Naborshchikov was born in Novosibirsk in 1997. After graduating from the Music College at the Glinka Novosibirsk State Conservatory (class of Professor Marina Kuzina), he continued his studies at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Professor Irina Bochkova) where he is presently a fourth-year student under Professor Alexander Vinnitsky. The musician has attended master classes by Eduard Schmieder, Oleh Krysa, Natalia Prishchepenko, Clara-Jumi Kang and participated in educational and concert programs of the Summit Music Festival & Institute in New York. He has won international violin competitions and awarded gold medals at the 11th and 12th Youth Delphic Games of Russia. <>
In 2019, Ivan Naborshchikov joined musicAeterna orchestra led by Teodor Currentzis. The following year, he appeared at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival as a member of the State Borodin Quartet. In 2021, he released an album containing pieces by Francesco Landini, Camille Saint-Saëns, Sergey Prokofiev, Béla Bartók, Luciano Berio, György Ligeti, György Kurtág and his own works for Oclassica with the violinist Svetlana Gurzhiy.
As a composer, he has won prizes at international competitions, joined master classes by Enjott Schneider and Lera Auerbach, and participated in contemporary music festivals. His Rondo for violin and piano was chosen as a compulsory piece for the semifinals of the 8th Leopold Auer International Violin and String Quartet Competition (2021).
