    Alexey Kudryashov

    Alexey Kudryashov was born in Moscow. He studied at N. Myaskovsky Children’s Music School No. 3 (class of Olga Gruzdeva), Chopin Moscow State Junior College of Musical Performance, and Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he later completed a postgraduate course there (class of Professor Vera Gornostaeva). He also practiced under Lev Naumov, Andrey Diev and Alexey Nasedkin. 

    The musician has won the Grand Prix at Maria Yudina international competition (St. Petersburg), First prize at the piano competition organized by Alexander Scriabin Russian Conservatory in Paris, Third prize and a special prize at José Iturbi competition (Los Angeles), First prize in Piano and Duet categories at the Online Music Competition in Serbia, Third prize at Moscow Piano Open 2017, First prize and a special prize of Pianiste magazine at Les Etoiles du Piano in Roubaix (France, 2018), as well as the Second prize and the Audience Prize at Massarosa piano competition (Italy, 2018). He was also awarded special prizes at the International Scriabin competition in Moscow, Khachaturian competition in Yerevan and the European piano competition in Caen (France).

    Alexey Kudryashov plays in recitals both in Russia and abroad, and appears with chamber ensembles and orchestras. He has participated in Scriabin international festival (Paris), Chopin festival (Warsaw), Tchaikovsky Days in Hamburg, Rheingau festival (Germany), Armonie della sera in Ponzano di Fermo (Italy), Festival dedicated to Poulenc’s 110th anniversary, Great names of Art commemorating Vladimir Krainev, Moscow Autumn and others. He has performed with Fabio Mastrangelo, Dimitris Botinis, Ruslan Zharsky, Igor Manasherov and other prominent conductors. 

    Since 2012, Alexey Kudryashov has been teaching at Chopin Moscow State Junior College of Musical Performance and giving master classes. Since 2014, he has been Executive Secretary of the Jury of the Romantic Music of Young Musicians festival in Moscow. He is also a member of the International Artists’ Association, and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Arts. 

    He has recorded a CD of Chopin, Rachmaninov and Scriabin and participated in recording Pianists’ Music Folders (part of Golden Recording Library of the Pedagogical Repertoire series).
