    Gordin Dmitry

    Born in Moscow in 1975, Russian pianist Dmitry Gordin received his musical training at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

    He studied with Yelena Stcheglova, Vladimir Krainev and Dmitry Nemirovsky, one of the few students of the great Emil Gilels.

    In 1991 he made his debut playing Liszt Concerto No.1 in The Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory. Since then he regularly performs in all Moscow’s major concert halls.

    Dmitry Gordin performed in China, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Montenegro and United States.

    In 2007 Dmitry Gordin signed an exclusive contract with The Artists Management of Moscow State Philharmonic Society which represents him in Russia. The 2007-2008 Season’s engagements included solo recitals and performances with orchestras in Italy, China and Poland, as well as in many cities of Russia.

    Dmitry performed with famous Russian conductors such as legendary Veronica Dudarova, Vladimir Ponkin, Yury Simonov, Pavel Sorokin, Saulus Sondeсkis, Aleksey Shatskiy, Alexander Sladkovsky, Petr Altrichter and to name a few.

    In Season 2008-2009 besides recitals in Russia and Poland and concerts with symphony orchestras in Russia Dmitry Gordin took part in Orpheus radio station's Festival in memory of the great Russian conductor Yevgeny Svetlanov. He performed a program of works by Medtner, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Mussorgsky which was broadcasted live.

    Season 2009-2010 projects included performance with favourite Russian cellist Alexander Knyazev (Brahms and Schumann sonatas), cooperation with State symphony orchestra New Russia under Y. Bashmet (Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin), recitals in Moscow and Russian regions.

    During the season 2010-2011 Dmitry performs in Ukraine, Moldova, Byelorussia, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Croatia as well as in Russian regions. His performances in Moscow includes two recitals and two concerts with Moscow Philharmonic orchestra under Y. Simonov with Vladimir Ponkin as a conductor (Piano concerto No.3 by Rachmaninov) and with State symphony orchestra New Russia under Y. Bashmet with Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo (Piano concerto No.2 by Brahms).
