Born in Moscow, Victoria Lyubitskaya studied at the Moscow Conservatoire Music School with Valentina Sedova-Berman and at the Moscow Conservatoire College under the well-known pianist and teacher Victor Bunin. She continued her education at senior level in the Moscow Conservatoire under Professors Samvel Alumyan and Lev Naumov. 

Victoria Lyubitskaya is a laureate of international competitions. She is Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Creative Endeavors (Moscow).

Victoria’s concert repertoire is wide and diverse, embracing works from the 18th to the 21th century. Rachmaninov occupies a special place for her, and she performs all his solo piano works and all works for piano and orchestra (four concertos and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini). Victoria has collaborated with such well-known conductors as Saulius Sondeckis, Veronika Dudarova, Vladimir Ponkin, Mark Gorenstein, Vladimir Verbitsky, Alexander Rudin, Dmitry Liss, Andrey Anikhanov, Edward Serov, Alexander Anisimov, and Alexander Walker; she has performed with leading orchestras such as the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia (Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra), the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the State Symphony Orchestra New Russia, the St. Petersburg Camerata (Chamber Orchestra of the State Hermitage Museum), and the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Musica Viva. 

In Russia, Victoria has given concerts in Moscow at the Grand and Small Halls of the Moscow Conservatoire, and at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and in St. Petersburg at the Grand and Small Halls of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society; she has also performed in other cities of the Russian Federation. Abroad, she has performed in Austria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Montenegro, Spain, Switzerland, and other countries. Victoria has taken part in many prominent international festivals, among them Russian Winter, Moscow Autumn, Fridays at the Pushkin Museum, Alfred Schnittke Festival (Moscow), the Easter Festival in St. Petersburg, Festival of Russian Culture in Fribourg (Switzerland), Days of Music in Herceg Novi (Montenegro), and the Baltic Ballet Festival From the classics to the avant-garde in Riga (Latvia). 

She has recorded for radio and TV in Russia, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.She has made several CDs for well known labels, and these have all been highly rated in the Russian and international press, including such authoritative publications as Musical Review, Culture, Musical Life (Russia), Diapason (France), Piano News (Germany). Her recording of Alfred Schnittke’s piano works, released on the Belgian label Fuga Libera, was awarded the top rating of “5” by the prestigious French classical-music magazine Diapason.
