Philharmonic is organizing visiting concerts at schools in the capital.
At a time that is convenient for you, we can organize visits by leading soloists and chamber ensembles, graduates of the Moscow conservatory and the Gnesin music academy, artists of Moscow theaters, and also music lecturers of the Philharmonic – specialists with comprehensive knowledge, excellent speaking schools, experience and the talent of talking with a children’s audience.
The programs of our concert lectures, talks and literary and musical compositions have been developed to suit children of different age groups. Concerts of the Philharmonic may prove to be unforgettable “lessons” for such school subjects as “International artistic culture”, “Literature”, “History” and “Music”.
The programs we offer include “Musical alphabet”, “Museum of musical instruments”, “In the rhythm of the dance”, “Musical zoo”, “Musical geography”, “My dear capital”, “Of valor, of bravery, of glory”, “The voice of deep antiquity”, “And the voice sounded so wonderful”. They tell kids about the basic of musical culture, forms and genres of art, musical instruments and singing voices.
For young school pupils, there are compositions based on works of children’s literature – “The Nutcracker”, “Humpty Dumpty and Mary”, and “The Little Prince”.
Many topics are directly connected with the school curriculum – “Pushkin and music”, “Lermontov and music”, “Young generals”, “Moscow in the mirror of history and art” and others.
A number of concerts will introduce school children to Russian calendar holidays and musical folklore – “Minstrels in Old Russia”. “Winter Yuletide. Christmas”. “Great Shrovetide”, “The Balalaika – the Soul of the People”.
Special programs for children have also been prepared by leading chamber ensembles of the Philharmonic – “Academy of Early Music”, “Madrigal”, Romantic Quartet”, “Brass Ensemble”, “Russian Virtuosi” and “Espressivo”. For schools which specialize in humanitarian disciplines, we can develop exclusive thematic programs – monograph concerts on classics of world music, and studies of artistic and aesthetic schools, periods and styles.
The cost of the concert is 12,000 rubles and up.
